Men of Honour - York Region kicks off in just 2 days from now. The entire team is hard at work putting in the final touches from the production, marketing, staging, decor and so much more. The team is excited and so am I. It's the Men of Honour Awards where we showcase 40 of the biggest game changers in York Region, Thursday Jan 17 at 7pm at Le Parc Banquet and Conference Centres. The biggest Mississauga Arts Council Fundraising gala of the fall of 2018 took place live at the Mississauga Convention Centre with the Motown Masquerade. We celebrate the golden era of Motown as we pay tribute to such legends as Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and so much more. Have a peek at some of our outstanding talent featured at this event including Liberty Silver, Nicole Faye, Justin Bacchus and Donna King.

It is important for us as Canadian's too, not only take moment to reflect and give thanks on Nov 11th, but to also understand the significant contributions that Canada has made and attained during and after the war. Take a look and lets share some of that Canadian pride.

What made SAPNA Toronto?
In 2014, SAPNA Toronto's inaugural event was entitled 'South Asians With Style'. This event featured notable professionals in the South Asian Community while showcasing the importance of style.

The grandeur of this event brings little princesses and princes together for an afternoon of royalty. Children ages 3-12 years of age to feel like royalty while providing an opportunity to make a difference for those living with cystic fibrosis .

Feb 24 is proclaimed the coldest day and or night of the calender year. This would be one of the worst times of the year for those suffering with poverty and or homelessness.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a national "call to action" campaign, where communities from all over come together to raise money for programs that deal with Poverty. In Mississauga, the DAM- Youth Drop-in centre is the organization that we are supporting. The Coldest Night Of The Year event requires patrons to not only raise money but to head out on the street and embrace the cold as we promote awareness for youth and homelessness.
Mississauga is kicking off the fashion buzz for 2018 with the launch of Fashion Insight. An event featuring 5 of our up and coming fashion designers here in Mississauga from, 401 Clothing, Pop Sauvage, Green Dress Designs, Shanzay Wazir and Zoba Martin. I had the chance to host this event and I also took a moment to shoot and edit some of these clips...enjoy!
